NEEDED: Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound

Please consider  becoming a Homebound Extraordinary Ministry of Holy Communion to those who are in need.

Homebound members of our community are those who are “shut in” and not able to attend services and can become the forgotten members of our Parish.  The senior adults or those that are ill and confined to their homes, a nursing home or hospital bed who love to attend church programs and services and experience the fellowship and community of their church family on a regular basis.  There is no substitute for missing out on community events, however we can help fill the void by bringing Holy Communion, sharing the Parish bulletin and the gentle touch from someone in the community to let them know they are not forgotten.

Our Mission as a Homebound Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion is to bring spiritual healing to those who are not able to attend.  In bringing Communion to the sick and the homebound, the Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist represents Christ and manifests faith and charity on behalf of the entire church community.

Please consider helping by volunteering to be a homebound Eucharistic Minister and share one of most important ministries by giving the gift of Jesus.  We are hoping to have enough Ministers that they would be called to serve once every 7 weeks.

Training will be provided so please pray and consider offering yourselves to the ministry.  If interested please contact Ed Doboszenski at:  Cell 612-919-7039 or email ekdpad2at
