Mary Queen of Peace is a sponsoring church of CROSS

CROSS is the local food shelf located in Rogers.  CROSS serves the communities of Dayton, Corcoran, Rogers, Osseo, Maple Grove and part of Champlin.  A clothing closet is on site and Peace of Mind services for those experiencing a financial crisis is available.   A Hennepin County Financial worker is available weekly to take financial or food stamp applications or to accept documents.  In an average month, 1,100 individuals visit CROSS!

CROSS works closely with local and business donors as well as area churches.  Each church is asked to have 1-2 representatives to attend regular meetings to provide updates, address specific concerns/needs and to bring that information back to the churches.  The church representatives for MQP are Connie Ronallo  612. 716.1237 and Mary Suter 763.439.7000.   Please direct any concerns or requests for CROSS through the representative to ensure communication is directed to the responsible areas.

Volunteers to CROSS are always needed to keep CROSS functioning and to serve the customers.  Volunteers handle pickup and unloading of the food, stocking the warehouse, sorting and pricing clothing, customer service, reception and office support and custodial work.
