FUNERAL FOR KAY ELIZABETH STUEVE JANUARY 20

Kay Elizabeth Stueve,  age 79, of Hanover passed away on  Thursday, January 12, 2023 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

She was born on May 5, 1943 in Minneapolis the daughter of Lloyd & Dorothy (Wagner) Kruse.

On August 20, 1966, Kay E. Kruse and Bernard E. Stueve were joined in holy marriage at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia Heights.   God blessed their marriage with five children.

Kay enjoyed her family and having visitors.   She also was fond of crocheting and making Prayer shawls, baking and decorating cakes.

She was very generous toward others and was a champion for the under privileged or underdogs.  She was a faithful member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church-St. Walburga Campus.

Survived by loving husband: Bernie; children: Philip (Lois) Stueve, Aaron Stueve, David Stueve, Father Andrew Stueve and Amy (Mark) Ouellette; granddaughters: Samantha and Sydney; grandsons: Timothy, Brent and Brandon; siblings: John Kruse, Carol Kruse, Janet Johnson and Jim (Jody) Kruse; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Carol Kruse, Gil Dirkes, Fred (Carol) Stueve, Phyliss Godlewski, Jeanette “Nettie” Silvernail, Tom (Nancy) Stueve and Terry (Margie) Stueve; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandson Zachary Stueve, a daughter-in-law Laurie Stueve, her parents and by four siblings Pete, Connie, Jean and Alice.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 20th at 11:00 A.M. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church-Oratory of St. Walburga.  Father Andrew Stueve will be the Celebrant.

Interment will follow at St. Walburga Cemetery in Fletcher, MN.

Visitation Thursday, January 19th AT THE CHURCH from 5-7 P.M.   Further visitation Friday morning, January 20th at the church one hour prior to Mass.
